Trout & Resident Steelhead  (Season, all year)
The Trout fishing has been the same.

Plenty of fish, tons of hook ups, and some fish in the 2-6lb. range being landed this year.  Almost all the fish have been wild, so sorry for those who want to take home dinner to the family.  We are catching fish on dry/nymph patterns, spoons, spinners, rapaulas, egg patterns, and almost anything except a bare hook.

Salmon (August-December 31st)
We are catching Salmon in the various deep fishing holes from Butte City all the way up to Anderson.  The cooler the water, the better.  The fish are biting roe, flatfish/kwickfish T55-60 & K14-16.  The freshest Sardine wrapped lures have been catching the fish.  The bite is far from Red Hot and the fish keep coming in, but the water temperatures due to water regulators, not the drought have been bogus and killing fish near Colusa, so we will see how the run pans out.

Stripers & Shad (May-September)
I am still catching plenty of Stripers, shakers and KEEPERS from Colusa all the way up to Red Bluff.  Night and Evening fishing with topwater lures has been obvious;y down right explosive.  I am still catching fish on minnows and there are plenty of fish that did not venture back to the ocean.

The SHAD fishing is peedering out, but there are still fish in Red Bluff and Los Molinos.
