-Clothing for the trip is necessary.  Conditions can change so make sure you check the local weather before your trip.  If you are hunting, make sure you have camo gear.
-Drinks plus snacks or a lunch are necessary unless provided.  This can be requested for an additional charge of $15 per person.  There are a variety of food and drink options so be prepared to tell me what you prefer.
-If you are fishing or hunting, you will need a California Resident or a Non Resident fishing or hunting license.  These can be purchased for a single day or for the year.
-You no longer need a Bay-Delta Enhancement Stamp while fishing on the Sacramento River.
-If you are fishing on the Sacramento River for Trout or Steelhead you will need a Steelhead Punch Card.
-Before hunting Wild Boar in California, you will need a Wild Pig Tag.
-If you are hunting Waterfowl in California, you will need Federal and State Duck Stamps.
Preparing for the trip
Seth Mitchell's Guide Service provides all of the fishing equipment.  Bait and Flies are also provided for each trip.  If you are planning on a fly fishing trip, you will need to bring a 7 to 8 weight rod.  Bring a rod that is near 9' and has a heavy action.  A spay rod can be an exciting trip on the Sacramento River in a jet boat.  Those long precise casts make for some epic fishing in some of those tight corners around structure.
