Clothing
-Clothing for the right weather conditions is necessary.  Conditions can change so make sure you check the local weather before your trip.  If you are hunting, make sure you have camo gear.  Some of the hunting grounds are very sloppy.  Check in before the trip to see if you need knee high boots.
Food
-Drinks plus snacks or a lunch are necessary unless provided.  This can be requested for an additional charge of $15 per person.  There are a variety of food and drink options so be prepared to tell me what you prefer.
TAGS
-If you are fishing or hunting, you will need a California Resident or a Non Resident fishing or hunting license.  These can be purchased for a single day or for the year.
-Before hunting Wild Boar in California, you will need a Wild Pig Tag.
-If you are fishing on the Sacramento River for Trout or Steelhead you will need a Steelhead Punch Card.


A full day trip is typically 8-10 hours and half day trips run 4 to 6 hours on the water.  Bait, rods, and tackle are provided for all trips.  Prior to any fishing trip, details about what boat ramp we will be using will be updated.  Please have a valid fishing license and any proper tags prior to the trip.  Please contact me for any additional questions about licenses and tags.  Discounts will be given to people who book multiple bookings.  Trips typically accommodate up to 3 people and arrangements for large parties can always be made.  Any additional details can be hashed out over the phone or by email.  Bait and Flies are also provided for each trip.  If you are planning on a fly fishing trip, you will need to bring a 7 to 8 weight rod.  Bring a rod that is near 9' and has a heavy action.  A spay rod can be an exciting trip on the Sacramento River in a jet boat.  Those long precise casts make for some epic fishing in some of those tight corners around structure.

WILD BOAR HUNTING IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
ADDITIONAL TRIP INFORMATION
 

The wild boar hunts are offered on a 35,000 acre privately owned ranch south east of Red Bluff, CA. These hunts are great for a weekend or daily adventure.  Some trips include meals and lodging at the ranch.  Arrangements will need to be made well in advance for lodge availability.  The terrain on the ranch can range from mild open fields to steep terrain, and sloppy riparian areas.  These Hunting Trips book Febuary to September.
